After six weeks of repairs following the May fire, Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur Of The Seas has returned to service from it’s homeport of Baltimore.
Some work continues to be finished, most notably in the South Pacific Lounge and adjacent Diamond Lounge, parts of the aft promenade, and also in crew areas. However the ship bears no visible evidence of the fire, not even the slightest smell of smoke. Some passenger cabins are being used by repair personnel which required Royal Caribbean to cancel cruises for some guests. These guests were given a 100% refund and a 25% discount for a future cruise.
